An answer to critics of Sikhism

We Sikhs, Not Hindus

Another attack to abolish Sikh culture by ZEE TV…..
http://zeetvagainstsikhs.blogspot.com/

Question on authenticity of Hindu religion by Gujrat High Court?

RSS and other Hindu fanatic organizations try to merge Sikh religion into Hindu religion but so far it has never been established if Hinduism is a religion? Just see above picture in which High Court of Gujrat questions on Hindu religion and asked if it's a religion?

Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji having  delved deep into many such caste-justifying writings inferred that by designating Brahmins as Gurus and by adhering to their 'Dharam Shastra it was impossible to conceive of the perpetuation of Hindu way of life. That is why Guru ji, discarding the Brahminic hotch-potch, nay in contradistinction to their Dharam Shastras, administered Nectar - Amrit to the persons from all the four castes from the same bowl.

This contention had been reiterated by Swami Mahesra Nand ji Maha-Mandleswar (Resident of Surut Girika Bungalow at Kankhal) in his Sanskrit writing  Chatur varnya Bh arat Samiksha,  in its second chapter, Bharat Viragarganyo - Guru Gobind Sin ho', translated as follows -
Among the heroes of India the Prime One is Guru Gobind Singh.

He was born in a venerated Kshatriya sect. He was pained by the prevalance of the birth based life long disabilities sanctified by Shastras - Puranas of Hindus. He, from day one steered clear of the perverted agonizing caste based ignominies. He, instead, initiated the Khalsa way of life, which was futuristic. He messaged to his Sikh disciples hailing from all the four castes to imbibe learning, prowess, enterprise,.service, meditation in equal measure without any distinction of any kind, to forge brotherhood and unity through the medium of their familiar language —
Guru ghar janam tumare hoe
Pichhle jaat varan sabh khoe
Char varan ke eko thai
Dharam  KhaIsa padvi pai
Hindu Turk se eh niara
Singh mazhab ab tum ne dhara.
                                  {Historical Granth)
Meaning
[Now you are (re) born in the Gurus' family; and have lost all past caste identities. All
four castes are brethren, and have attained the status of Khalsa. This is distinct from
Muslim and Hindu; Singh is your denomination now onwards.]
Manas ki jaat sabh ekai pehchanbo.
(Dasam Granth, p. 19)
Meaning: [The entire human race is deemed as one.]
Of those chosen of the chosen valiants, Guru among the Gurus, Sri Guru Gobind Singh then propounded thus — "Weakness is the greatest sin, whether it is physical, intellectual, social or national, be it derived from alien domination, or because of deprivation of wealth, abode or weapons. Whatever be its genesis, cast away all kinds of weakness. Bravery is to be the motto all around. Discipline and The Superb Faith “Khalsa Panth”

- 66 - high character constitute true power. Hence My Sikhs ! You are all subduers of powerful evil foes. Transform your physiques into stout, healthy and agile ones. For that purpose take wholesome food, cultivate cheerful, calm and enthusiastic disposition. Always rely on God bestowed prowess and talent. Imbibe fraternal spirit and reorganize the social warp and woof by casting o\'l' faults like losing oneself in selfish pursuits and so on. Great scholars had opined that Singh Shakli, is Sangh (Panth) Shakti in Kalyuga, i.e., the Dark Age.

“For rendering service to others, be always bent upon. Cast off the delusions of numerous Gods and heterogeneous gods - goddesses to dwell on One  Lord. Imbibe fraternal unity. You all in unison meditate on God.  Always meditate on Master Lord. Adopt His Name. Give up sloth, and waywardness, and be beneficent-energetic. For worldly sustenance adopt equitable means. For annihilation of the wicked, for protection of the Motherland, bear arms like Kirpan.  Cultivate prowess of a Kshatriya. Liberate your motherland from the evil subjugation by foreigners.”

Thus, Guru Gobind Singh the Accomplished Master made each Sikh to combine in him the knowledge, prowess, wealth and service, i.e., the four talents  (traditionally) attributed to the caste hierarchy of Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya and Shudra in the given order.

Thus, as per the exhortation of Swami Maheshwara Nand ji, Mahan Mandleshwar too it is gross stupidity to regard Sikhs as Hindus.

Why Hindu Drink animal Blood ?

Some hardcore Hindus practice a method of decapitating and drinking goat blood directly from its body. This practice is widely prevalent throughout Indian villages (cities, too are no exception).

These photographs are from a Hindu temple in Malaysia.
It is believed by Hindus that the Hindu goddess "Kali" descends upon that girl and she drinks the blood. Its a more common practice to make blood sacrifice to Hindu gods, but this is way out of bounds.

Dancing naked Naga monks of Hindu religion in streets. Could these naked sadhus ever be invited at homes?

"BAANI GURU GURU HAI BAANI !!

" Maaney naahin ved bhed simrat puran ke,

[We do not accept the authority of. The Vedas, neither that of Simritis and Puranas. We worship neither Bhairva, nor Ganesha. We recognize neither Tithis nor Omens, nor days. Neither Rahu, Ketu, Shani, Shukar, Sun nor Moon. We do not believe a bit in Sandhya, Sutak, Caste, Varna, Jantar, Mantar, Fasting, Homa or Shradh. Disciples of the Tenth Master, Khalsa Panth is distinct. Really ignorant is he who calls Khalsa as Hindu.]

I am confident that the Sikhs are the only Indian people who have maintained their country’s ancient culture and its dress and code of conduct intact.

You have to ask other people what country they belong to but as soon as you see a Sikh, you immediately and automatically come to know that he is an Indian any where in the world.

The base of Sikh religion is not from Vedas. The concept of 'Vedas truthfulness' and supremacy is not accepted in Sikh religion.

The Sikhs neither eat the ex-creata (dung) of cows, drink it's urine nor clean their houses by the dung of cows to purify. Sikhs are also not ready to perform any Gomedh Yagna, they also do not call the visitors as 'Goghn.'

In 1898, when S. Kahan Singh ji of Nabha wrote the book,"HAM HINDU NAHIN" to answer the Hindu miscreants, he refers Sir Lepel Griffin,"The Sikhs had abandoned the Hindu faith, and with it the system of law which is the basis of that faith and which was inseperable from it. For a hundred and fifty years they had been governed, as far as chiefships were concerned, by another code altogether, and it was as reasonable for them to refer to Manu and the Shastra as the source of legal authority, as it would have been for Muhammadans, who had embraced Sikhism to appeal to the Shara.
(The Rajas of the Punjab P.338)
If we deeply look into this matter, the method which was used to disband the religious signs of Hindus in era of Aurangzeb is adopted by these fanatics and miscreants RSS people to apply on Sikhs to disband them from their religious signs. They have only one goal in their minds, by taking away their signs of religion, all of them be submerged in Hindus. Thus the sign of or religion (SIKH) be abolished forever.

YEH YAAD RAKHNA CHAHIYE RSS EK BESHARAM SANGTHAN HAI. (Sharam hai unko magar aati nahin).
It is a befitted reply to the fanatic Hindu elements of RSS, and to answer Rashtriya Sikh Sangat, whose leaders are the misguided brothers of Sikh religion, but away from the mainstream of Sikhism in lack of the preachings and warnings of Gurus, playing in the hands of enemies of Sikh religion and harming their own independent identity by becoming VIBHISHAN. We will suitably answer to Rashtriya swayamsevak sangh in their own language i e tit for tat. They can understand this one language only. Viewers are requested to kindly send their valuable suggestions, Text materials, references, pictures and all other knowledge to share and update for the high spirit of Panth.

In Islam, Muslims are bound to perform the Namaaz at least 5 times a day, Hindus are restricted to Muhurats, Fasts etc. In Chrishtianity, Christ has introduced himself as son of God (Are the others born of Shaitan?) and gives a call to his followers to come to him as he is the their savior.

SIKHISM is the only religion, which gives liberty to its followers to worship the Almighty, Omnipresent WAHEGURU any time any where. Ladies also enjoy full liberty as they are free to recite Gurbaani from Guru Granth Saahib ji, even during their mansturation periods. Their Ladyship is highly regarded as they give birth to Peers, Paigambers, Deities and Lords. How could she be achoot or down trodden. HATH KAAR--MUKH DAATAR. Recite his name while you earn, sleep or traveling. You are at your liberty.
Apart from non-Sikh readers in India and abroad there are now among the Sikh people themselves, a class of adolescents and even middle aged persons who under the stress of present-day urban living, have lost touch with the fundamental principles and vision of their faith. If it had not been so , some of them may not have joinedRashtriya Sikh Sangat in adolescent and not axing the tree of their own faith in ignorance. Basic believes---The devotional path. GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI-------The presiding deity (GURU) of the Sikh faith is called ADI GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI.

It represents the inspired or revealed Word of God, and all worshipers while entering the Temple, bow to it, make to it offering of money and sacred food, recite it to seek blessings and hear its pronouncements with deep faith. This is kept wrapped in Silken or other valueable robes, is constantly waved over with a fly-whisk and installed under an ornate canopy. All in its presence must squat in the prayerful posture called in India Padmaasan (the lotus posture ) and never sit on a or any elevated seat. All these are the distinctive marks of venetration shown to royalty. As a matter of fact, the assembly in a Sikh Temple is known as a Darbaar or Court, and the mystic holy Presence refered to as Mahaaraj (Great king)

Ek-Ishwar-waadi,---The teachings of the Gurus permeated with the non dualistic vision or monism, attainment of which is the highest goal of the religious life.
“Dujaa kaahe simariye jammey te mar jaaye,Eko simrao naanka, Jal thal raheyaa samaaye !!
Hindus are dualistic----Bahu-ishwar-waadi,
who worship karors of Deities, Gods and Goddesses. You wont believe the no. is 33 karor, almost equal to the population of United India at the time of partition in 1947.The Hindu religion-------it can be called “Mixture of religions” or the storage of different religions but it is not a religion in itself as it is the Hodge-Podge of different religions and sects.
IK O-ANKAAR SATNAAM KARTAA PURAKH NIRBHAO NIRVAIR AKAAL MOORAT AJUNI SAIBHANG GUR PARSAAD !!!! JAP!!AAD SACH JUGAAD SACH HAI BHI SACH NAANAK HOSI BHI SACH !!
This is the Mool-Mantra or the basic creed of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Means “God is one, he is supreme, Eternal reality, Creator, Purusha, without fear, without rancour, timeless form, Unborn, Self-existent, realized through Divine Grace.”Sayeth Naanak O, Searcher after Truth, meditate on the name. WAHEGURU, God the Boundless Divine Reality, the remover of the veil of ignorance from the human mind, who was true and self existent before creation, was the through all the ages (yugas), is true now, and shall be true and self existent for all times to come.

If the definition of Hinduism is asked from a “Shiv-bhakt’, his definition would be different than a ‘Vishnu-bhakt’ or a ‘Durga-bhakt.’ Jains and Bodhis (followers of Buddha) also calls themselves Hindus, though practicing their faith as per the path shown by their Lords. So until RSS does not answer and define Hindu religion, how can they say Sikhs are Hindus or part of the main stream of Hindu religion. The Sikh faith being strictly monotheistic, they worships only one almighty god WAHEGURU. See the basic creed of Sikh religion in the beginning t of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji,:---

Now I take the basic principles followed by Hindus:-----· Yagya and Hawans are performed while worshiping. While performing Yagya or Hawans, It is performed by so called higher cast Brahmins only. The arrogant assumption of holiness by the Brahmins in India.· Race, cast and creed, division of followers into four varnas or creeds i.e. Brahmins, Khatri, Vaish and Shudra..· Authenticity of Vedas and Sanskrit as Dev baani.· Unequal and Untouchable. Avtaar- waad or Re-incarnation of God,· Division of ages for different purposes of life,· Ashram- Dharma,· Moorti-Pooja.· Snakes, Oxen, Rodents, Monkey etc. all are worshiped. There are many other issues also to be discussed but before that I would like to compare these with the teachings of Gurus to Sikhs.

(1) The practice to perform Yagya or Hawans is completely restricted by Sikh Gurus.

(2) Brahmins are not given any special status in Sikh religion because All are equal in Sikh religion. The arrogant assumption of holiness by the Brahmins in India. The Brahmins paraphernalia of ritual articles, Fasts, holi-baths, the Yogi's matted hairs Ocher robe, and ashes plastered limbs, 'the Bhakti devotees' dance and mimes--- in none of these does religion lie.(Gurbachan Singh Talib).”EK PITAA EKAS KE HAM BAARAK.”Further Naanak says,:--
Sri Rag Mahalla 1·
Nichan Andar Neech Jaat Neechi hun at Neech.
Naanak tin Kai Sang Sath Wadian seun kiya rees.
Jithe Neech Samaalian Tithe Nadar Teri Bakhsis."
I am lowly and low to be with the lowly; what have I to do with the high and the great of his world?”·
Jo tun Brahman Brahmni jaaeya !! Tao aan baat kaahe nahin aaeya !!
Tum kat Brahman Hum kat sud !! Hum kat Lohu Tum kat Dudh !! (Raag
Gaori, Page 324).

If the Brahmins are made of higher casts than the Down-trodden or lower casts, than there must the milk be flown in their veins not the blood. They should also have been born from some other parts of body not through the same. It spreads the message of equality in mankind.

(3) Guru Nanak has condemned the practice of inequality among human beings. All are equal,
”Fakkar Jaati Fakkar Naon ! ! Sabhnaa jeeaan eikaa chaaon !!” ( Sri Raag ki Waar Mahalla 1, Page 93 ).
“Jan Naanak tin ke charan pakhaaley Jo har jan neech jaat sevkaan !!
(Gond Mahalla 4, Page 861).
“Saache te pawnaa bhayaa Pawne te jal hoye!!
Jal te tribhuvan saajiyaa Ghat-ghat jot samoy !!”
There is no difference in race of human kind, We are born of one and are one.

“Awwal Allah noor upayaa Kudrat ke sab bande !!
Ek noor te sab jag upjiyaa Kaun bhale ko mande !!m“Neech Jaat Har japtiyan Uttam padwi paaye !!jPuchahu Bidar Daasi sutey Kisan utriyaa ghar jis jaaye !! (Suhi Mahalla 4, Page 733 ).
“ Baran Jaat kou puchey naahin Baachahe charan beechaaro !!
(Gujari Mahalla 5,Page 498 ).
All these quotients from Sri Guru Granth Saahib Ji clears all doubts regarding any inequality in race, caste, or color. The sources we are earning from are also provided by the almighty even before the child takes birth. So why to hate the people doing dirty jobs? They are doing the best to clean the society, instead of appreciations they are condemned and hated, humiliated by so-called upper caste Brahmins and others in Hindu religion:-
“Maanukh ki jaat sabhey eikey pahchaanbo !!”
“ Jin prem kio tin hi Prabh paayo !!

(4) The supremacy of Vedas is not accepted in Sikh religion. Hence the concept of Sanskrit language as Dev-baani is also rejected by Gurus.
“Bed Kateb Sansaar Habhaa hun Baahraa!! Naanak kaa Paatshahu disey Jaahraa !! (ASA Mahalla 5, Page 397).
Brahmaa Ved parey Waad vakhaaney !! Antar Taamasu Aap naa pachaaney !! (Gaori Mahalla 3, Page 231).
Read AASA DI WAAR----9th SALOK—

Also see:-- Parh pustak sandhiaa baadam….!!
Sikhs are guided to follow the preaches of Gurus only to meditate on the name of Waheguru.
“Dhur ki Baani aayi Tin sagli chint mitaayi “
“Baani Guru Guru hai Baani vich Baani Amrit saare !!
Gurbaani kahey Sewak jan maaney partakh Guru nistaarey !!”
“Satguru baajhaon hor kachi hai baani !!
Baani ta kacchi Satguru baajhhun hoar kacchi Baani !!
Kahede kache Sunde kache Kachi aakh vakhaani !! (Anand Sahib)
”As per Dr. Radha Krishnan, Yagya, Kurbaani, division of casts, Ashrams, Religion and immortality of Vedas ; all these are forced upon in Hindu religion and culture. Whereas all these are strongly condemned and restricted in Sikh religion.
“Karam Dharam Paakhand jo deesahe Tin Jam jaagaati lootey !! 4 !! 50 !!
( Suhi mahllah 1, page 747).

(5) Avtaar-Waad----- Guru Naanak Dev ji clearly says in many salokas in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, that if Ram was god why his wife Sita, when kidnapped and taken to Lankaa, could not do any thing to get back. Why did he sought the help of Hanumaan? Why he was unable to cure and treat his brother Laxman when he fell unconscious ? vise-e-versa He also points that there can not be bigger mistake or presumption to accept that Krishan being God was born on Ashtami. God does need not to take birth. He himself is a creator and able to do everything.
(Bharon Mahalla 5,Page 1136)
"Sagli theet paas daar raakhi !! Ashtami theet Gobind janmiyaa si !!
Bharam bhule nar karat kachraayan !! Janam maran te rahat Naarayan !!
If Ram, Krishan or other Rishi, Muni, Peer-Paigamber were Gods, Why did they suffer like human beings?
(Raamkali ki waar Mahalla 1,Page 953).
Rove Raam nikaala bhaeyaa !! Sita Lakhman vichurh gayaa !!

(6)Ashram-Dharm ki Paalna:--
As per Hindu religion, the age of every person is considered above 75 years. Thus the division of age is divided and considered as follows:-- Upto 25 years of age ---BRAHMCHARYAA. Means every man shall have to keep himself away from ladies to avoid sex and to control his lust and desires. From 25 to 50 of age.---GRAHASTH. To marry and raise his family and take care of family by every means. From 50 to 75 of age-----Vaanprastha. That is while being in and as a member of family reduce your duties from your family, and practice to worship. After 75---- That is now the time to go to forests for worshipping his God or Goddess. Leave the family and to be a sanyasi till death.

(7) Worship of Idols………Being the follwers of Saakar Brahm, Hindus make Idols of their Deities, Gods and Goddesses to worship by establishing these Idols as there ISHT or God. Mohsin Phaani, who was in India during the rule of Akbar, writes that there are neither statues nor any place to worship Idols in Sikh temples. How could there be a statue (IDOL) of mere stone be kind and helpful, or fulfill the desires of followers? In his book,'Dabistan-e-majahab', he wries,"Sikhs do not enchant the Mantras or Salokas of Hindus which are written in Sanskrit language, (considered as Dev-baani or language of deities), and not placed supreme by Sikhs. He also writes,"Naanak panthi which are called Sikhs do not have any faith in idols or statues and their temples.
The important evidence is no Sikh Guru ever laid foundation of any temple or worshipped any statue in their life. The worship of idols is forbidden in Sikh religion.
“Jo paathar kao kahte Dev !! Taa ki birthaa hove Sev !!
Naa paathar bole Naa kichu dey!!Fokat karam nihfal hai sev !! 2 !!
(Bhairao Mahalla 5, Page 1160).
“Ghar mahe Thaakur nadar naa aavey !! Gal mahe paahan lai latkaavey !! 1
!! (Suhi Mahalla 5, Page 738).
“Hindu mule bhule akhuti jaahi !! Naarad kaheyaa se pooj karaahi !!
Andhe gunge andh andhaar !! Paathar le pujhe mugadh gawaar !! Ohe jaa aap dube tum kahaa taranhaar !!
(Bihagre ki waar mahalla 4, Page).
“Jah jah dekhan tah tah soi !! (Prabhaati mahalla 1, Page 1343 )
. "Kaahe ko pujat paahan ko Kachu paahan main parmesar naahin !!
(33 Savaiye Paatshahi 10)
There is no place to worship or bow before the Idols in any such temple. This practice is strictly restricted by Gurus.

(8) Fasts:-- The Hindu religion permits to fast on certain festive days and quite often on weekly days but this practice of fasts or keeping oneself hungry is condemned in Sikh religion.
See:--
"Ann na khaahi dehi dukh deejey Bin Gur giaan tripat nahin theejey !!
(Raamkali M.1 Page 905)
"Varat na rahao na mahe ramdaana !! Tis sevi jo rahe nidaana !! (Bharon M: 1, Page 1136).
"Man santoakh sarab jea daeya !! Ein bidh varat sampooran bhaeyaa !!(Gaori thiti M: 5, Page 299)
There is clear and straight message in this regard to Sikhs. See:--
"Guru kaa Sikh ekaadashi aadik varat naa rakhe" (Rahetnaama Bhai Daya Singh Ji)
"Pooja varat upaarne var saraap siv sakat lavere !
Saadh sangat Gur sabad vin thaun naa paeyan bhale bhalere !! 7!! (Bhai Gurdaas, waar 5)

(9) This practice of becoming a Sanyaasi, Run away from social duties,by avoiding the family is strongly condemned. The principle is to worship the almighty Waheguru while doing your daily duties to-wards your family and society,”Hath Kaar-Mukh Daataar” means keep on chanting Waheguru with every breath you intake and throw out as well as doing your job. This way one kicks away the thoughts of any fruitful expectations from the almighty and believes in his (Waheguru’s) blessings.

“Udam karendiyaa jea tun Kamaavndiyaan such bhunch !!Dhiaaediyaan tun Prabhu mil Naanak utri chint !!”
“Chaar baran chaar ashram hai koi miley guru Gur naanakSo aap tarey Kul sagle taraadho !!” (Kaanra Mahalla 4, Page1297).

(10) Worshipment of Snakes, Rodents, Oxen, Monkeys, even Shamsaan and Sati's even LING POOJA (sex-symbol) is not spared and common in Hindu religion, whereas this practice of worshipping is condemned and strictly restricted in Sikh religion.
Devotees of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji believe they must control the animal instincts of Pride/Ego, Anger/Temper, Greed/Urges,
Attachment/Dependency and Lust/Addiction. Sikhs should take Amrit and read Gurbani. Lust, anger, egotism, jealousy and desire are only eliminated by chanting the Name of the Lord.
By all these quotients, examples and arguments it is established that the Sikhs have there own independent identity as a separate nation (KAUM) and Sikhism is a religion to worship the almighty by the way shown to them by their Gurus.
In SUKHMANI SAHIB, last phrase of Ashtpadi-19, %th Guru Arjun Dev Ji says,:--

Eko jap eko saalahe !! Ek simar eko man aahe !! Ekas ke gun gaao anant !!
Man tan jaap ek bhagwant !! Eko ek ek har aap !! Puran poor rahio prabh
biaap!!
Anik bisthaar ek te bhaye !! Ek araadh paraachat gaye !! Man tan antar ek prabh raata!! Gur parsaad Naanak ik jaata !!

(11)-Role and Status of Sikh Women;
The Code of Manu states, "In childhood a female must be subject to her father, in youth to her husband, then to her sons; a woman must never be independent. There is no God on earth for a woman than her husband.....She must on the death of her husband allow herself to be burnt alive on the same funeral pyre. That everyone will praise her virtue."
In Indian society, women were usually subject to various caste-rules and severe restrictions. They remained illiterate and were ill-treated. Female infanticide was often practiced.
On December 25th, 1927, Dr. B R Ambedkar burnt the copy of Manusmriti in protest to it's advocacy against the black laws of the Manusmriti against Dalits and women.
This is a verse from the manu smriti. can someone explain why woman is portrayed in such a manner. especially the last line which actually is SATI, which has been abolished in India now, since it was one of the biggest social evils to exist in the society.
Guru Nanak condemned and challenged the idea of any inferiority and evil associated with women and freed her from slavery and taboos of the society. This practice of burning alive was first of all condemned by Guru Nanak Dev ji in late 15th century but it got abolished in Hindu religion by the efforts of Raja Ram Mohan Rai of West Bengal in 18th century.
In one of his hymns, he says:
"We are conceived in woman,
We are born to woman.
It is to woman we get engaged,
And then get married.
Woman is our lifelong companion,
And supporter of our survival.
It is through woman
That we establish social relationships.
Why should we denounce her
When even kings and great men are born from her?" (Asa di war)

(12)- In Hindu religion , the hairs of widows are cut and they are abondoned by the family, some families send them to Math, Ashrams at Mathura, Varanasi, Haridwar. Here they are sexually exploited and die in isolation.
The widows are also mentally tortured by not allowing them to attend any function, wedding, birth ceremony. They are also compelled to live the cursed life. They are not allowed to take water from the common village well. There life is made hell by their own family members. Such is the tragedy with these destitute women by no fault of theirs.

(13)- Dowry-A social curse is condemned by Sikh Gurus. It is never promoted as Guru ji called the dowry seekers as beggars. When the hand to beg is opened , the demand of may be one Rupee or Lacs of Rupees, that is one and the same thing-to get alms. So this social evil must be condemned by all like Sikh religion and their Gurus.

(14)- To worship planets is another propaganda by Brahmins. They scare the common man and fear them of the bad effects of Jupiter, Saturn etc. planets in their life. This way they get enough easy money for their livelihood.
How could these planets play a role in the life of a human person where the humans are already on a planet Earth? But people are so sacred by them that in this 21st century I see the Indian TV channels also keep on scaring the common people whole day as there is nothing more important for them to telecast.
Gurbani says; There are millions of Suns. Moons and these planets in Universe so if all starts effecting the lives of human beings, the humans shall never be able to stand strait on earth. How foolish scary thoughts are produced to fill their pockets?
While argumenting in the court, Even Bhai SUKHA JI, (Sukhdev Singh ji) gave a version of Gurbaani to Judge, of the independent identity of Sikhs as per Gurbaani Salok given below:---
Bharao Mahalla 5 !!
varat na rahao na mah ramdaana !! Tis sevi jo rakhey nidaana !! 1 !!
Eko gusaai allahu meraa !! Hindu Turak duhan naberaa !! 1 !! Rahao !
Haj kaabe jaao na teerath pujaa !! Eko sevi awar na dujaa !! 2 !!
Pujaa karao na niwaaz gujaarao !! Ek Nirankaar le ridey namaskaarao !! 3 !!
Na hum Hindu na Musalmaan !! Allah Raam ko pind praan !! 4 !!
Kahu Kabir eh keeaa vakhaana !! Gur Peer mil khud khasam pachaana !! 5!!
GURU GOBIND SINGH JI has also warned SIKHS to not to disobey him as He always stands beside them whenever and wherever He is needed. Sikhs are instructed that Guru sadaa ang-sang hai. Until Sikhs follow the RAHAT MARYADA. If they go other way/against his path, He will not care of them.
"JAB EH GAHEN BIPRAN KI REET !! MAIN NAA KARON INKI PARTEET !!Bipran=Brahmins,or against
He also warns,:-- "RAHAT PIAARI MOHE !! SIKH PIAARA NAHEN !!"
He prefers the Sikhs to follow Sikh traditions, Not his look-a-like of Sikhs. In appraising the almighty Waheguru,
He says,:--
INHI KI KIRPAA KE SAJE HAM HAIN !! NAHIN MOSE GARIB KAROR PARE !!
A vast majority of Hindus are the followers of SHIV or MAHADEV. In Gurbaani Sikhs are restricted to worship only Niraakar Brahm or omnipresent almighty WAHEGURU, Guru Gobind Singh Ji says,
"Mahadev ko kahat sadaa Shiv !! Nirankaar ka cheenat nahin Bhiv !!
(Chaupai, Patshahi 10 )
Means the people who call Mahadev as Sadaa Shiv or the almighty lord, are they not feared of God. Parampita Parmaatma is creator of all deities, durga, Shiv, Vishnu, Brahma, Raam,or Krishna all are his creations. They themselves are not Gods. God or Waheguru is master of all. He can only be truely worshipped by his true name. Sikh Gurus and Guru Granth Saahib Ji inspires the WORD OF GOD.
Sikhhu sabad piaario !! janam maran ki tek !!
Mukh ujjal sadd sukhi !! Naanak simrat ek !!
So wake up before you get late. Follow his preechings and obey him. Sikhs do not seek MOKSHA/FINAL REST but believe and hope to relax in GURU_CHARNI. He always seek the presence of GURU IN LIFE AND AFTER HIS LIFE. Get baptized with AMRIT to purify your soul and get rid of sins you earned, worship only one almighty God--WAHEGURU, the omnipresent. FOLLOW THE TRUE PATH OF LIFE.
Now after this I can only say to the mischivious people of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, if they can take over these weeknesses of Hindu religion, they will automatically sworn in as Sikhs. Than they shall not need to do any propaganda of considering Sikhs -as a part of Hindu mainstream. Thanks to Late Prime Minister V. P. Singh, who has slapped so hard on Hindu religion by implementing Mandal Commission. Thus deviding Hindu community so widely, If they try another 1000 years, they won't be able to rebuild the faith in Dalits (Down troddens) and higher casts. Mrs. Indira Gandhi was asasinated by Sikhs, who afterwards proudly declaired that whatever they wanted to do , they have done now you do whatever you want to do. It was the true example of bravery. Look at you people, You grounded the Babri Mosque (Masjid) on 6th Dec.1992. Since than, none of you have come forward to take the responsibility in fear of life.
You people don't have that spirit in you. That's Why you Hindus are still far away from Building 'Ram Temple.' in Ayodhya. Go and learn from Guru Gobind Singh ji, Follow---Sikhism, Raam Mandir apne aap ban jaayega.
My sincere thanks to Prof. Sher Singh Giani M.A.L.L.B.(London) and Prof. Gurbachan Singh Talib, Patiala University and AKAL ACADEMY BARU SAHIB. The knowledge of english translation and explaination of related salokas of Gurbani in their books have encouraged me to write this article and to give a befitted reply to the evils of modern society.
Thanks to all.

POST No.2 ; An answer to critics of Sikhism.
Harjas is lying here that she does not belong to RSS, please go through all her articles, comments. Everywhere she supports the ideology of the saffron terror organization. You may visit her website at http://www.hindudharmaforums.com/showthread.php?t=527&page=8
She never supported the Khalistani movement but joined Akhand kirtani Jatha as a traitor. She was sent to this Akhand Kirtani jatha to learn Sikhism and then to work for RSS to propagate that Sikhs are Hindus through the misinterpretation of Gurbani. She is paid for her services by RSS. RSS did play this trick before partition of India also with Muslims. Please see the blog : http://rssagainstsikhism.blogspot.com/ In which a true story is written. In the last couple of years RSS has recruited five thousand Hindus and converted them as fake Sikhs to learn Sikhism, Gurbani in the guise of Sikh and then work like Harjas kaur. They are adjusted in Rashtriya Sikh Sangat - a sister concern of Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh.
She always insists of Sanatan Sikhi which claims discarded by the end of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. She is impressed of Sati Pratha in which a women is expected to burn alive in pyre with her dead husband as some queens of Maharaja also committed but Sikh Gurus preached against this and condemned the Hindu ritual as in Asa di war, Guru Nanak ji said—SO KION MANDA AAKHIE JIT JAMME RAJAN’ means why to curse the women who have given birth to Lords and kings.

It is through woman That we establish social relationships. Why should we denounce her. When even kings and great men are born from her?" (Asa di war).
Is the hanuman not a monkey God ? Do the Hindus not worship the Ling (Prick) of their Lord Shiva? Please read full story of Shiv puran in the above said blog. If someone passed a remark to this fanatic who is always on to defame Sikhism and Sikh Gurus, when she hurts the feelings of true Sikhs to whom she has betrayed, why does it pinches her?

No recognition was ever given to this Sanatan Sikhi. The Gurudwaras were under control of some Udasis who started their malpractices and employed goons. In Nankana Sahib Pakistan 21 Sikhs were killed when they went to free the Gurdwara from Mahant Narain Das and she wants the control back in the hands of these traitors so that they may place the idols of Hindu gods which are forbidden in Sikh religion. This she calls the Sanatan Sikhi and is glad with.
There is only one Sikhi—the main Sikh stream which was started by the it’s founder and first Guru—Guru Nanak Dev ji. He himself opposed the worship of Brahminical rituals

He never preached to worship idols. His son Baba Sri Chand ji was disowned by Guru Nanak as he was indulged in anti Sikh activities. His sect is known as Udasi Samprda which is not recognized as Sikhs.

The 10th Guru Gobind Singh ji abided his Sikhs to refrain from Brahminical rituals and created Khalsa which wear the mandatory holy signs of Five Kakaars. These signs are wore by his true followers who got the Amrit of Khande di Pahul.

Those scholars and learned people of the time were fools who stood up against this malpractice and formed the Chief Khalsa diwan and Singh Sabha to implement the Sikh code of Conduct which gives a distinct identity to Sikhs and she is against it. Why do the people forget :
ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਸਾਚੀ ਸਾਚਾ ਵੀਚਾਰੁ ॥(Raag Dhanaasree M. 3, GGS. 666).
Guru Gobind Singh ji has ordered his Sikh in his 52 Orders or Hukam that :
6)- Gurbani dae arth Sikh vidhvana tuo parrhnae - Learn the meanings of Gurbani from Sikh Scholars.
9)- Sat-Saroop Satgur da dhian dharna - Concentrate on the True Guru (God).
10)- Guru Granth Sahib Ji noo Guru mananaa - Accept Guru Granth Sahib Ji as Guru.
31)- Doosrae mataa dae pustak, vidyaa parhni. Pur bhrosaa drirh Gurbani, Akal Purakh tae karnaa - Study the books and knowledge of other faiths. But keep trust in Gurbani and Akal Purukh.
39)- Subh kaaraj Gurbani anusaar karnae - Do all work in accordance with Gurbani.
46)- Dikhaawae da Sikh nahi bananaa - Do not become an outward show-off Sikh.
49)- Sikh da itbaar karna - Believe a Sikh.
How could the Budhists raise a voice when Hindus have submerged their religion into Hinduism and Sikhs are cautioned by the attack and the Sikh genocide. The govt of India, the Congress and Hindus of this nation have lost their trust. Who the bloody hell shall trust the back stabbers? Why we do not have a Khalsa raj because when India got freedom, the leaders of Congress, the so called father of nation promised Sikhs to enjoy freedom in their own state and assured there shall never be any betrayal with Sikhs. This statement was given in Gurdwara Sisganj Sahib, Delhi by Gandhi, and when Sikhs asked Nehru and reminded him of their promises, the conman replied that the time is changed and he could not fulfill his commitments? Read
Jinnah offered Baldev Singh ji in England That he is ready to give the offer of 60-40 in whole of Pakistan to Sikhs in parliament and all jobs and in all sectors. Baldev singh told this to Nehru and what Nehru did-early morning he flew back to India with Baldev singh. He did not leave Baldev singh in London as he knew, he could sign the pact. The Sikhs could not trust the Muslim due to the martyrdom of their Gurus and sacrifices of thousands of Sikhs. They trusted the Hindus for their trust of centuries but congress immediately shown its true color just within two months of independence. It issued a circular to all DC’s in Punjab that the Sikhs are criminal caste and be dealt accordingly. This was the first betrayal with those Sikhs who were made refugee in their own country, those who were the land lords were made laborers. And now this traitor teaches us a lesson of equality?
So what if it is a buffer state? The Punjab which was called the Manchester for textiles and a prosper state has been converted into a beggar state by the discriminative policies of this Congress and Hindu govt called the center. Now Punjab is on 17th number in prosper states of India out of 28 states. Thus Punjab is ruined by Hindu govt. Now Punjab has a loan of 70,000 Krores of Rupees where as per capita income is still higher but what can one do of discrimination?
When India got independence, the govt of India adopted the federal system but now due to the maladministration by Congress, it has lost this system but have become the master of India. Is their any
other example of suppression could be seen any where in the world? Is it not the jeopardize with its own citizens?
The activists of saffron terror-the RSS burning alive a Sikh youth in 1984 and dancing afterwards in joy.
The khalistani or separatist movement is weaken but not died. Sikhs can never forget the jeopardize and brutal killing of their innocent brothers and their women raped. Harjas may not face such humiliation in life so she is not aware of this agony. She is even not married, may be divorced but is a single and became a Miss again. The govt planned to eliminate Sikhs and identified the Sikh residences, Sikh institutions and business establishment. Indira was a shrwed politician. She planned to air attack on border town of India and Pakistan on 8-10th Nov 1984, and to blame Sikhs have joined hands with Pakistan and that Pakistani aircrafts bombarded the towns of Sikh majority. Beant Singh somehow came to know this plan of disaster, he immediately decided to kill Indira and he and Satwant Singh killed her a week earlier of her disastrous plan.
If you do not agree with me, please tell me how the lists of Sikhs voter lists, institutions and business establishment were prepared over night and distributed on 1st Nov. whereas there were not the computers in 1984? http://violatingfaith.blogspot.com/
We Sikhs have the capability to turn the barren land into a fertilized land. We know how to prosper the state of our own and how to invite the NRI’s to invest in Punjab.
Where was the Hindustan? Who ruled Hindustan and who occupied it or freed it? There were nearly 500 states which formed India and signed their merger after independence. The govt promised the rulers to compensate them but Indira betrayed with them also. She stopped their privy purses and all doors to their earning sources were closed.
The bundle of lies are proved by her statement as she writes that Maharaja wanted to donate the Kohinoor diamond to Jagannath Puri ? Maharaja always offered every precious item he received to Golden temple only as he had a firm believe in the lotus feet of Guru Ramdass. He offered the Gold Chandni offerd by Nizam Hyderabad, the chaur of sandalwood and many more precious items. Could this learned scholar-the traitor of Sikhsim, can produce any such document to prove her claim? I would love to be enlightened on it.
The future never dies. Die only the cowards. We have a dream of our own state, may be after my death but Sikh nation shall get its own raj/kingdom someday. She suggests : No one can glorify violence against the innocent and be a spiritual person Why does she not preach this to the top brass of saffron terror wings of RSS ? The killing of innocents is condemned in sri Guru Granth sahib ji so how could the true Sikhs go against the order of their Guru? It syas as : Nirwaire naal vair rachaavae Har dargah oh haarae !! Means who has enmity with the innocents, shall face defeat in every place of Lord. She alleges only of her bias thinking and to defame whereas whole world knows of Hindu fanatic organizations of India. Sikhs are ordered to protect the poors from tyrants and she blames of killing the innocents?
Harjas writes ;
Modern Sikhism tolerates no idols, no arti. Yet, it cannot be denied that historically idols were kept and arti performed in Gurdwara. So the question becomes, what was the original practice? The Tat Khalsa say Sikhi was Hinduized to weaken it from a purataan original form. The sanatan Sikhs say Sikhi has always been like this with traceable historical references, and the British influenced Tat Khalsa tried to establish an independant identity rejecting anything in practice, interpretation or belief which had any sanatan connotations, and even going to extreme of either ignoring certain pauris or deliberately mis-defining Hinduism to exaggerate differences.
Harjas again misguides here. She writes that the idols were kept in Golden temple, yes but I too ask her why? Why were they kept there? Was not it against the original practice of Sikhism? Guru Arjan dev ji himself enlightened the first Parkash of Guru Granth sahib ji in Harmandar Sahib but Guru ji or Baba Budha ji who was given the charge of Head Granthi or care taker never kept there any idols. The idolatry/ it’s worship is forbidden in Sikh religion so how could Guru ji or his followers allow this malpractice ?
Guru Gobind Singh also wrote to Aurangzeb in Zafarnama that he (Guru ji) does not have any faith in worship of idols but he is idol destroyer.
So anyone placed the idols there in Gurdwara was with malintention and to project the Sikhism as a sect of Hinduism. Therefore these statues were removed. The Tatt khalsa had such a belief in presence of Akal Purakh that when Bandai Khalsa tried to declare Baba Banda Singh as guru, both the parties agreed to pray in Darbar sahib and the names of both parties as Tatt Khalsa and Bandai khalsa were written on two slips. After the pray to the eternal Guru Granth Sahib ji ji, both the slips were thrown into trhe sacred pool with the desire in pray (Ardas) that only that group of Khalsa shall be declared of its existence whose slip shall flow on water.
The miracle happened and slip of Bandai Khalsa was drowned and the slip of Tatt khalsa (True Khalsa) floated.

So the decision of removing the idols was a correct and timely taken decision but by the way why does it spark her ass that she wants the idols be placed in Gurudwaras? Does not she projects herself as the mouth piece of RSS?

Whether Sikhs are Hindus or not. It was also decided in Nabha. The learned Sikh scholar Bhai Kahan singh ji of Nabha, wrote a book as “Ham Hindu nahin’. For a hundred and fifty years they had been governed, as far as chiefships were concerned, by another code altogether, and it was as reasonable for them to refer to Manu and the Shastra as the source of legal authority, as it would have been for Muhammadans, who had embraced Sikhism to appeal to the Sharia.

I too have written a blog as http://wesikhsnothindus.blogspot.com/ If she is ignorant. She can read it there. The divisional commissioner himself declared the distinct identity of Sikhs and after hundred years again the Punjab and Haryana High Court has established this distinct identity in their verdict of 2009. Please see the brief report in
OK, but factor these contemporary observations into your schema of things:
This early quote is from a Persian manuscript written during Guru Hargobind's time. The author spent some time with Sikhs and knew the Guru. His writings imply a distinct difference to Hinduism. It also seems to answer your question about the position of Aarti and idol worship in original Sikh worship.
To be brief Nanak's followers scorn images. Their belief is that all the Guru's are Nanak as stated previously. They do not recite the mantras of the Hindus and do not pay respect to their idol temples. They do not count the avtaars for anything. They do not have attachment to Sanskrit, which the Hindus call the language of angels.
Dabistan i Mazahib by Mobad (1645-46) . Translated by Irfan Habib
Although from the lower castes of Hindus, countless people like ants and locusts gathered around him (Banda Singh Bahadhur) and lost no time in getting killed or coming into battle for his sake, yet they did not harm such Hindus of high status as Khatris, who were colluding in the designs and plans of that rebel or Jats famous for their bravery, who were supporting and joining the army of that doomed one. All remaining Hindus, along with the Muslims they regarded as deserving to be killed.
Muntakhabu 'l Lubab by Khafi Khan (1716). Translated by Majida B
This observation is from an Afghan opponent of Sikhs who came to Punjab with Abdali Shah. This observation is explicit in its categorisation of Sikhs as distinct from Hindus;
Quote:
If you are not conversant with their religion I shall tell your honour that the Sikhs are disciples of a Guru, and that fortunate guide had lived at Chak [this is an old name for what we know call Harmandir Sahib]. The ways and practices of these people are derived from Nanak who showed to the Sikhs a separate path. His last successor was Gobind Singh, from whom they received the title Singh. They are not from amongst the Hindus. These miscreants have a distinct religion of their own
Jang nama by Noor Mohhamad (1764-1765). Translated by Iqtidar Alam Khan.
If anything, lately I have had the desire to study Hinduism in more depth. My previous attempts were flawed because I couldn't find a coherent system in all of what I studied. I now have a better understanding and am better prepared to understand it.
I don't agree with Sanatanised interpretations myself. Again I point at the success Sikhs had against Moghuls compared to the Anglo-Sikh wars. That some protestant thinking may have influenced Singh Sabha thinkers is conceded. I am not trying to hide this. Also I'm a bit confused about your comments on glorifying violence. I don't believe I have done this and I openly condemn those who call themselves Sikhs and commit atrocities on innocents, be this for Khalistan or anything else. But you forget Harjas, Guru ji reminds us, “
"ਸੋ ਜੀਵਿਆ ਜਿਸੁ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਸੋਇ ਨਾਨਕ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਜੀਵੈ ਕੋਇ ਜੇ ਜੀਵੈ ਪਤਿ ਲਥੀ ਜਾਇ ਸਭੁ ਹਰਾਮੁ ਜੇਤਾ ਕਿਛੁ ਖਾਇ ang 142"
Harjas and honest ? She joined Akhand kirtani jatha to learn the Sikhism and than to defame or attack on sift targets. She is quoting someone vandna srivastava, may be from any NGO but she forgets the community kitchen only in Darbar sahib is feeding the poors and visitors fro the last 450 years. She is also forgetting that rhese were the Sikhs who rescued the 22,000 Martha and Hiindu women from the clutches of Abdali and safely sent them to their homes. Those who were discarded and not accepted by their families got married with Sikh youths but a good life they lived with honor and dignity but what your Hindus did in 1984, they raped the Sikh women after killing their husbands or brothers. Only the rascals can rape a helpless women mourning her family members and you the Hindus have passion? Shame on you.
Guru Arjan Dev ji also opposed the sarguna sarup of lord. In sukhmani sahib, guru ji says in 22nd Ashtpadi as, Sargun Nirgun Narnkar Sunn Samadhi aap !! AApan kiaa Nanakaa aape hi fir jaapu !!” The whole ashtpadi denies this sargun sarup. Sikhs are follower of nirgun or Nirakar Akal Purakh who is omnipresent. The sargun sarup has been opposed several places in sri guru granth Sahib ji and she calls herself a scholar of Sikhsim-No she is here to misguide only. Please go through the blog again http://wesikhsnothindus.blogspot.com/

The base of Sikh religion is not from Vedas. The concept of 'Vedas truthfulness' and supremacy is not accepted in Sikh religion.

24)- GURU GOBIND SINGH JI has also warned SIKHS to not to disobey him as He always stands beside them whenever and wherever He is needed. Sikhs are instructed that Guru sadaa ang-sang hai. Until Sikhs follow the RAHAT MARYADA. If they go other way/against his path, He will not care of them.

He prefers the Sikhs to follow Sikh traditions, Not his look-a-like of Sikhs. In appraising the almighty Waheguru, He says,:--
26)- INHI KI KIRPAA KE SAJE HAM HAIN !! NAHIN MOSE GARIB KAROR PARE !! A vast majority of Hindus are the followers of SHIV or MAHADEV. In Gurbaani Sikhs are restricted to worship only Niraakar Brahm or omnipresent almighty WAHEGURU, Guru Gobind Singh Ji says,
27)- Mahadev ko kahat sadaa Shiv !! Nirankaar ka cheenat nahin Bhiv !!(Chaupai, Patshahi 10) Means the people who call Mahadev as Sadaa Shiv or the almighty lord, are they not feared of God.
28)- Sikhhu sabad piaario !! janam maran ki tek !!
She lies again as Gurbani even says the gopis dancing are the One Ajooni pervading in these forms for His own Leela. She forgets guru nanak dev ji says in Asa di war.Neel bastar le kapde pahire, brindaban men rang kiaa” menas the Krishna wore the blue clothes and had sex with gopis. She further writes : Hindu's are not trying to strangle Sikh identity. Politicized Sikhs are strangling their own spirituality. Just visit again to the blog http://rssagainstsikhism.blogspot.com and see yourself the malicious moves of Hindu organization RSS.
She further asks :
Can you explain why Gurbani praises the das avtaaras as sargun manifestation of the God? Can you explain why Gurbani refers to Guru as an avataar? And as for Sanskrit,

The Guru is an enlightner. The Lord Akal Purakh blessed the Sikh Gurus as guru Gobind Singh himself describes in his autobiography that Akal Purakh called him and said that whomsoever he sent on earth, he refered himself as god but no one ever reminded people of the presence of Akal purakh so 10th Guru was ordered to be sent on earth. This is the reason that Guru ji always praised the Akal Purakh in his every script. He even did not cry on the death of his sons in battlefield in front of his eyes or on receiving the news of his younger children bricked alive. But the Saint soldier only thanked the God.

Sikhs don't jap mantras of Brahmins, because they can be proven to jap mantras of Vaishnavas. I am curious as to what word for Hindu these authors are using, and in what ways it may be distorted in translation to prove a political view of Sikh separatism supporting the Singh Sabha perspective.
Sikhism was not the state religion during Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s rule. The Maharaja’s regime was essentially secular with patronage evenly distributed amongst the Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs. His Prime Minister was a Hindu Dogra, his Foreign and Interior Ministers were Muslims.
It were the British who tried to foster the sense of identity as distinguished from the Hindus amongst the Sikh soldiers for reasons of their own. However, the Hindu religious practices continued to be followed amongst the Sikh masses; there were idols even on the premises of the Golden Temple.
"ਕਾਹੇ ਕਉ ਪੂਜਤ ਪਾਹਨ ਕਉ ਕਛੁ ਪਾਹਨ ਮੈ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰ ਨਾਹੀ ਤਾਹੀ ਕੋ ਪੂਜ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕਰਿ ਕੈ ਜਿਹ ਪੂਜਤ ਹੀ ਅਘ ਓਘ ਮਿਟਾਹੀ
In order to meet this challenge, the Singh Sabha Movement was launched towards the close of the nineteenth century. It was a reformist movement which laid stress on the distinctive Sikh identity. The process continued in one form or another until 1950 when a statement of the Sikh Rahat Maryada (the Sikh Way of Life) was adopted by the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee, the statutory Sikh Council.

Thousand-headed is Purusa, thousand-eyed, thousand-footed. Having covered the earth on all sides, he stood above it the width of ten fingers. Only Purusa is all this, that which has been and that which is to be. He is the lord of the immortals, who grow by means of [ritual] food. Such is his greatness, yet more than this is Purusa. One-quarter of him is all beings; three- quarters of him is the immortal in heaven. Three-quarters of Purusa went upward, one-quarter of him remained here...When they divided Purusa, how many ways did they apportion him? What was his mouth? What were his arms? What were his thighs, his feet declared to be? His mouth was the Brahman [caste], his arms were the Rajanaya [Ksatriya caste], his thighs the Vaisya [caste]; from his feet the Sudra [caste] was born. ~Rig Veda… And this Lord Krishna ran away from the battle field and called RANCHORH. The cheater (Chaliya), Lusty (Raas Leela) and a coward who ran away from battle field is their this Lord.
According to the Rig Veda, all the castes are created from the God, and thus, are part of the God.
In the Chandogya Upanishad, Satyakama (the illegitimate, varnasankra, son of a Shudra woman who did not even remember who her son's father was) went on to be accepted and educated for Brahmin work (the Gita: Ch. 18 - verse 42). This shows that the people (including the Shudra and of unknown lineage) had the choice of pursuing any occupation (even that of a Brahmin).
Have some shame upon you. Your lord Rama, buried alive a shudra Sahmbhu on charges of him listening the Vedas and you are trying to defend his atrocities?
All of the problems you have highlighted are a direct consequence, not of Sikh action, but rather Congress party activity in the late 70s and 80s. Can you turn around and tell me that Sikhs were separatist prior to this, or were they loyal to India to the point that MANY gave their lives for its independence? It's common knowledge that Indira Gandhi tried to manipulate Punjab politics for her own end. Also the infiltration of the so-called Khalistani movement is well known with some people involved speaking up about it and questioning its morality now.
Recently I visited the doctors. The GP I saw was a Hindu Panjabi. He spoke about his anger at the politics of communalism followed by Congress. Those of us from a Panjabi background over a certain age will know prior to 84, many Sikhs considered Hindus as their brothers and sisters.
If this has changed now - You have to truly and honestly ask why. I again reiterate it was the governments own policies that brought this about.
In the end I remind all those who have jeopardized the Guru and given up the Sikhi or betrayed they should remember the true words from Sri guru Granth Sahib ji as,
Harjas and many others who have joined RSS and given up the Sikhism but in their ignorance they mis-interpreet Gurbani. Guru ji says for such people:

  5. Could you support your article on 'Hindus Drinking Blood' by any sanskrit verses from Hindu Dharam please? Just because some tribal Shudras have converted to Christianity in South India & have their own made up beliefs & portray that drinking blood is commissioned & propogated in Vedic Dharma, we mustn't accept this blindly. I have studied Markandeya Puran where Chandi Di Vaar comes from & there are no mentions of blood drinking nor meat eating allowed in Hindu Dharma.
Either you are an agent of the semitic abrahamic missionaries of Islam posing as a Sikh or you are just here to promote your own vested interests against a great philosophy that is known as Sanatan Dharma.

  7. Ajay Singh Virdi--By name you may belong to Sikh family but in practice and knowledge-you are not a Sikh. The answers to your objections are already in the post, there is not any Sanatani Sikhi only true sikhism/Khalsa. Every objection to you is cleared with gurbani couplets from Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. So first be a Sikh and get some knowledge of your religion, read the Gurbani and learn something otherwise you are a Hindu only.

  9. Mr Ajay Virdi, you are not a Sikh as by this comment you are caught. There is not any kind of Sanatani Sikhi other then some idol worshipping Sikhs in 19th century like Udasis and other brahminicals who controlled the Gurudwaras and placed idols. They were kicked out and the control was again taken in hands by true Sikhs/ Khalsa.

See in this blogpost, Guru Nanak and other Gurus have condemned Vedas so don’t try to show here if Gurbani is translation of your Vedas. Read the blog post and go through the proves.

You are not aware the meaning of Khanda also so keep your bias thoughts with you only. It has been defined in another blog http://sikhsandradhaswami.blogspot.com so read it to get some knowledge.
You are also unaware of the call of Guru at creation of khalsa, Guru ji never called to offer him one son from each family. It was Madan Mohan Malviya who gave this call.

Laxman Dev was a Rajput but when he became a Sanyasi, he was called Madhodas but when he met Guru Gobind Singh ji, he was called Banda who got famed as Banda Singh bahadar. Afetr becoming a Sikh of Guru by taking the Amrit, he was given the name Gurbax Singh. So read Sikh history. All those who gets baptized in Sikhism by taking Amrit are called Singh, their old religion, cast etc are not counted but he/she is known as son/daughter of Guru Gobind Singh.

You are also not aware of Khanda and how many weapons it displays so first learn and then try to set any link. It is not you but article 25(b) speaks which declares Sikhs as hindus and this blog is to open the eyes of all fanatic Hindus, their wing RSS and ignorants like you only.

We are not Hindus and the founder of Sikh religion Guru Nanak Dev ji himself declared as “ Na main Hiundu na Muslmaan” So he laid foundation of a new religion which was finalized by 10th Guru after 239 years in 1699 at Anandpur Sahib by creation of Khalsa.

  10. Mr. Ajay virdi, I received your another comment which can not be pasted here, if you dare to debate, send me your email address. i know some coward nihang singhs in UK like Niddar and jodh singh are working for rss so i need not to waste my time on them.
I have been many times to the place of Baba banda Singh Bahadar in Rajauri-J&K and have seen his hukamnama there. So don't try to misguide me. I am not concerned with his life before he embraced sikhism and was given the name Gurbax Singh. After embracing a new religion- the old is not counted but denounced like if you embrace Islam, would be called hindu? No never. So we are Sikhs which are different fronm Hindus though we share same culture of indian sub-continent adopted for centuries. Sikh religion is also flourished in india and from hindus so no doubt the influence and certain rituals are still celebrated but even then Guru Gobind singh ji denounced it. read Zafarnama where he wrote to Aurangzeb that he himself is destroyer of idols. So how could his sikhs have faith in these idols?
Khand is not a single weapon so need not to discuss with you fool and agent of rss. Whatever you are, i am not concerned. We Sikhs are not going to be influenced by your bias thoughts. So stop commenting and wasting my time.

I strongly criticise RSS for creating this furore. But Sardarji, you are our Sardar(leader). Our leader how can you deny that you are not one among us? From my childhood to this day I have great respect to Sikhs. I never consider them different from us. For waheguru's sake do not say that you are not one among us. We respect your feeling and your personal choice. But do not go far away from us.

My respect to you and all the sikh brothers and sisters. Again I request you earnestly to be with us.

  13. Mr. Anonymus, Hinduism is not any religion, there is not any founder, no single religious book, not a single form of God to worship. It's a culture of Indian sub-continent adopted by it's people.
I differentiate to show that Sikhs aren't Hindus, other then that i don't have any intention.
For your kind information Sati pratha was long ago abolished by Sikh Gurus. The founder of Sikh religion Guru Nanak equally honored the women and all Sikh Gurus condemned Sati pratha. Raja Ram Mohan Rai was given credit because he was a Hindu but Sikh Guru were not given that credit by Hindus.

So Hindus don't have any religion ? They are religion~less.

I found that you have studied science as a student, then why haven't you bothered to dig deeper into various scriptures & understand the allegories to various cosmmic events given in the so called hindu scriptures.

Also, Raja Ram Mohan Rai was a Zionist British stooge. I hope you understand what Zionism is.

Since this is your blog, just wanted to know if you allow a fair discussion here, before I can express my difference of opinion & a few doubts here.

      thanks.

    2. Dear sir, in my opinion Hindu is not a religion but a life style, a culture adopted by all inhabitants of Indian sub-continent. We are also part of this culture.
Every religion has a founder, commonly accepted holy book and a deity to worship but Hindus have 330 millions of deities, no commonly accepted holy book and not any founder. The Shaivs oppose Vaishnavs and so on.
So try to undrstand what i mean. We Sikhs aren't part of Hindusm. We are seperate, sovereign and a complete religion in ourself. We do not depend on any other religion right from birth to salvation after death.
      Thanks for commenting here.

  18. * Always prefer for natural fat loss - There are plenty of diet regime supplements out there which contain synthetic substances
which could create really poor and unhealthy
side-effects. After talking with those who have used this weight
reduction supplement with a regular basis, they've got confirmed to be losing ten lbs. In this way the load wouldn't be too massive but there would nonetheless be a gradual change.

  20. We know the definition of Sikh but the Hindu govt of BJP is not aware of definition of Hindu.
Govt says it does not know the definition of ‘Hindu’.
In reply to an RTI query by Neemuch resident Chandrashekhar Gaur, the ministry said it does not know the definition of the word Hindu.
“To my query under RTI about the meaning and definition of the word Hindu in the light of the Indian Constitution and the law, the Home Ministry in its reply on July 31 said the Central Public Information Officer (CPIO) doesn’t have information regarding it,” said Gaur, a resident of Neemuch district in Madhya Pradesh.
Gaur had also sought to know on what grounds a community was considered Hindu, and why Hindus were considered to be a majority community.
The government’s reply was baffling, he said.
“If the government doesn’t know the meaning and definition of the word Hindu, on what basis did it enact the Hindu Marriage Act?” he questioned.

  21. The definition of Sikh is beautifully defined as follows:-
Have a look; Who is a Sikh?

A Sikh is a person who takes his spiritual guidance only from the Sikh Gurus; who believes in and remembers the one God (omnipresent), commonly referred to as Waheguru (Akal Purakh-timeless master), at all times; believes in the equality of all beings and selfless service to humanity (Seva-service of mankind); believes in the protection of the weak; preservation of peace; the promotion of personal qualities of Sat (Truth); Daya (Compassion); Santokh (Contenment); Nimrata (Humility); and Pyare (Love) and who at all times constantly repels the inner five evils of Kam (Lust), Krodh (Rage), Lobh (Greed), Moh (Attachment) and Ahankar (Ego).

The Guru Granth Sahib defines the Sikh in these terms:

    SGGS Page 305 Full Shabad
    Fourth Mehl:
One who calls himself a Sikh of the True Guru,
shall rise in the early morning hours and meditate on the Lord`s Name.
Upon arising early in the morning, he is to bathe, and cleanse himself in the pool of nectar.
Following the Instructions of the Guru, he is to chant the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.
All sins, misdeeds and negativity shall be erased.
    Then, at the rising of the sun, he is to sing Gurbani;
whether sitting down or standing up, he is to meditate on the Lord`s Name.
One who meditates on my Lord, Har, Har, with every breath and every morsel of food
    - that Gursikh becomes pleasing to the Guru`s Mind.

The Guru requires the Sikh to lead a life of discipline; to rise early in the morning; to cleanse oneself both externally (bathing) and internally (Naam simran) ; to meditate on the Almighty; to discard negative traits of the mind; and grasp the positive vibes from the Guru's word (Gurbani). By doing this the Sikh will become pleasing to the Guru. A Sikh must know his or her duty to oneself, the family and the community and perform this to the best of his or her ability. To lead a life of Chardikala - "positive outlook" and "buoyant and optimistic attitude to life" accepting God's will as the ultimate reality. To study and seek spiritual guidance from the Guru at difficult times, to remember the Lord always and, at all times, to seek the company of the Sadh sangat - holy congregation or spiritually wise people.

The summary of the main beliefs of a Sikh:

    * There is only one God for all the peoples of the world
    * All are equal before this one God
    * To respect all beings and to protect the weak.
*To live by one's honest labour and enterprise - Kirat Karni
*To remember the gift of life from the Almighty and to rely on Him only
    * To engage in regular remembrance of God - Naam Japna and Simran
    * One must live the life of a householder - committed to Selfless service (Sewa) to the community
    * To shares one's wealth with the needy - Wand ka Chakna
    * To be vigilant and defend one's life from the evil internal forces - Lust (Kham), Anger (Krodh), Greed (Lobh), Attachment (Moh), and Ego (ahankar).
    * To promote positive qualities both personally and among the community. To embrace Sat (Truth); Daya (Compassion); Santokh (Contenment); Nimrata (Humility); and Pyare (Love) as positive qualities of life.

    1. I feel amused on your ignorance. Guru nanak himself bestowed next guru of Sikh religion to Guru Angad dev ji. This enlightenment (jot) of Guru Nanak was seen in all 10 Gurus and now merged in Sri Guru Granth sahib ji which is present guru of Sikh religion. This is the evidence that Sikh religion was founded by first Guru-guru Nanak Dev ji.

  23. 1.) The Purusha sukta talks about the "Soul embedded in a body" (Purusha). The Brahman-Kshatriya-Vaish-Shudra division is on basis of merit, and NOT birth.
2.) Lord Krishna (thanks for calling him Lord btw) used to strategize and fight. When needed leaving the battle field for recovery is legitimate and SMART. Even Banda Bahadur did it often.
3.) There exists NO proof that Banda was an Amritdhari Khalsa. All evidences suggest that he WAS ALWAYS a Tantric Bairagi by spirituality and religiousness, who only led the Khalsa army.
4.) Sikhs are 100% Hindus, though not necessarily Vedic. RSS DOESN'T believe in religion. They believe Hinduism to be a geographic and cultural term. Get your facts right as Vishnu Puran says.
5.) The blood sacrifice thing is done ONLY by a few countable heretics of Hinduism.
6.) A thief would never call himself bad even though he is, and a true noble person would never call himself good even though he is. So even here it seems, Sikhs won't call themselves Hindus, but still they are.

  24. And ALL your information of Hinduism is pretty garbage vomited out.

///Get some education. Just as an example,,
SIKHISM is the only religion, which gives liberty to its followers to worship the Almighty, Omnipresent WAHEGURU any time any where. You are at your liberty.///

NO! Vedic Dharma is the ONLY religion that allows all the things you've mentioned. Sikhs, it seems, have just lifted these Vedic precepts

    1. There is no Vedic Dharma, some Hindus stick to Sanatan Dharma which is even not founded by anyone. Those who follow Manu, they follow it. It praches hate with other classes of society and keeps Brahmin on top. Read Manusmriti.
You being a hindu are suffering from falsehood of superior complexion so see other religions as sect of Hindus. Sikh dhrma is never born of Hindu religion but those sufferings of high handedness, discriminaation and tyrannies of upper class immrdiately jjoined Khalsa and within just 239 years a strong warrior class was born which overturned the mighhty Mogul kingdom. Its followers invaded in their (Mogul's) homes) in Afghanistan, liberated Peshawar and merged it in Sikh kingdom (Panjab) and then it concuered kashmir, Ladakh and merged them too in its kingdom whicn now are part of india which was never a nation but a sub-continent ruled by hundreds of small states.
So keep your vedic knowledge with you, we don't need it. Sikh religion outrightly rejects Vedas. We follow preachings of Guru Granth sahib ji only.
And in this post we have made our best efforts to educate our Sikh youths that they are not hindus. Hindus backstabbed us and destroyed the centuries old brotherhood in 1984.
      Good bye.
